National Museum of Ras Al Khaimah 

Ras Al Khaimah is one of the few places that has continuously been inhabited throughout its history, making it one of the longest-settled places in the world. To celebrate the Emirate’s history, The National Museum houses an impressive collection of archaeological and ethnological artefacts for visitors to explore.

 Sheikh Zayed Mosque 

Sheikh Zayed Mosque is possibly one of the oldest place of worship in the United Arab Emirates, where prayers are still held to this day. The external façade has been restored with plaster, coral stones and beach rocks, but its architecture remains vestiges of the era of Sheikh Saqr bin Rashid Al Qasimi.

 Mohammed Bin Salem Mosque 

Excavations revealed the presence of an earlier mosque, dating back to the second half of the 18th century (date as indicated by preliminary analysis of the finds). Historical records indicate a mosque was at this place since the 16th century.

 Dhayah Fort 

Dhayah Fort, a castle-like structure, is on the UNESCO World Heritage Tentative List and stands proud amidst the arid mountains and fertile date wadis of northern Emirate Ras Al Khaimah. The fort forms the centre of this lush oasis and boasts spectacular views from the mountains across palm trees and verdant lands to neighbouring Oman and down to the sea.

 Jebel Jais 

Jebel Jais is the highest mountain in the United Arab Emirates is part of the spectacular cloud-piercing Al Hajar mountain range. The range extends from Ras Al Khaimah on the eastern side of the United Arab Emirates to the Musandam Peninsula in northern Oman. It is 100 kilometres in width and 700 kilometres in length, straddles the two countries, and is the highest mountain range in the region.

 Jais Flight 

Jais Flight is the longest zipline in the world at 2,83km. Soar across jagged mountain peaks and swoop through deep ravines at hair-raising speeds of up to 150 kmph. Three minutes of adrenaline-pumping adventure at 1680 metres above the Arabian Gulf will leave you with a once-in-a-lifetime sense of superhero magic.

 Jais Sky Tour 

The Jais Sky Tour takes brave-hearted explorers through a complex route of six ziplines that range from just 337 metres to well over 1 km to experience the thrill of ‘flying’ at an average speed of 60kmph. An adrenaline-pumping experience that’s not for the faint-hearted.

 Camp 1770 

Explore the great outdoors, camping, sustainable locally cooked food and be at one with your soul and nature. Camp 1770 is the highest camp in the United Arab Emirates. It commands impressive views of the Jebel Jais mountains, abandoned shepherd communities, date farms, busy fishing villages, and the Arabian Gulf’s turquoise waters.  Suwaidi Pearls 

The United Arab Emirates and Ras Al Khaimah, in particular, have an extraordinary pearl fishing history that dates back over seven millennia. Archaeologists have discovered that Ras Al Khaimah’s pearl industry was thriving in the 12th century, known as the early part of the High Middle Ages or the Age of the Cistercians. Ras Al Khaimah became one of the busiest trading ports in the region because of its pearl industry.

 Wadi Shawka 

Wadi Shawka is the best example of a seasonal river bed. Famous for its dam, the beauty spot is renowned for its outdoor pursuits such as cycling, hiking and running. The Jebel Jais mountains give you access to the rare rain-soaked wadi and its ancient ruins, the occasional curious goat, remote camping sites and endless jagged mountain footpaths and trails for hiking.

 Bassata Desert Village 

Deep in the Ras Al Khaimah desert, you’ll find Bassata Bedouin Camp and Desert Village. Bassata translates into simplicity and is synonymous with the traditional Bedouin way of life. The rich nomadic lifestyle of the Bedouins dates back between 2500 and 3000 BC. They created simple yet beautiful traditions that continue in parts of the emirate today.

 Abra in Ras Al Khaimah Creek 

Implemented through four main stations, Corniche Station 1, Corniche Station 2, Hilton Garden In Station, and Manar Mall Station, the Abra is a sustainable transportion method implemented as part of Ras Al Khaimah's 2030 vision. 

 Flamingo Beach 

Ras Al Khaimah is world-famed for its glorious golden beaches interspersed with luxury eco-resorts, creeks and mangroves. Hidden by towering dunes, Flamingo Beach is a favourite hangout for sun worshippers, beachgoers, nature lovers, and water sports enthusiasts. The warm waters and shallow shores make it the ideal beach for families and friends.

 RAK Nature's Treasures 

AK Natures Treasures allows you to find your inner peace in a sanctuary surrounded by nature. The natural history museum is a private collection of over 2,500 perfectly preserved gemstones, fossils, seashells, preserved insects and bugs, taxidermy animals and birds and herbs and spices from all over the world.

 Souq Al Kuwaiti 

Souq Al Kuwaiti consists of many adjoining and adjacent shops close to the former Ras Al Khaimah corniche. The Street has been a favourite for locals and tourists alike where visitors can enjoy an authentic shopping experience seeking out many different types of items, be it clothing, textiles, perfumes, or spices.
